Rigidiser is applied to the surface of ceramic fibre blanket, or other high temperature ceramic fibre insulation by spraying or brushing. After airdrying, ceramic fibre rigidiser firms-up the refractory ceramic fibre, giving it tougher, more abrasion resistant characteristics. It is normally applied after the ceramic fibre is installed.
Rigidiser can be shipped in 5 litre or 25 litre plastic drums. 5 litres of rigidiser covers approximately 5m2 brushed or 100 square feet when sprayed.
